2012 HALLOWINE EVENT

SHE FELL FROM GRACE

The Annual Hallowine Murder Mystery Weekend event is typically the largest event and arguably the most enjoyable one of the year. This year’s incarnation certainly didn’t disappoint in either way. Despite a mostly gloomy Saturday weather pattern, revelers and sleuths came out in force all weekend long. So who done it?

The answer from NWT’s website:

The worst offender was Penna Teller. Penna had invested money for everyone he could. Unfortunately, he got in the habit of a dollar for the client, a dollar for him; a dollar for the client, two dollars for him. With Kelly home, he thought he could solve his financial problems. However, his contacts made it clear that wasn’t going to happen.

After dinner, Kelly/Honey and Ginger decided to get ready for the wedding. They used Andrea’s private bathroom. Penna snuck back to talk to Kelly/Honey one more time. The discussion became heated as Kelly claimed to have no money. Penna had kept the carving knife from the contest and, in the heat of the moment, stabbed her. He put her body in the bathtub and covered it up. Realizing that the tiny carving knife wound would lead back to him quickly, he collected many pumpkin knives and the wedding cake knife and covered them with Kelly’s blood.

When the bride went into the bathroom to fix her make up one more time before the ceremony, she found her sister’s body. The fun of trading places all evening had come home to roost – Ginger was the one murdered, not Kelly/Honey.

The photos above were taken by our roving gal Friday, Georgette Vachon. In costume as a snooping photographer, Georgette kept showing up often enough to grow into a suspicious character in the minds of some of the guests. There was even some speculation that she might be the murderer herself.
